Whether you are a first-time floater or just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery on Idaho’s most popular whitewater run, this trip is for you. Sandy beaches and great swimming holes highlight this excursion, but you’ll also get a taste of that famous Idaho whitewater.

This trip combines exciting whitewater rafting and beautiful scenery. You will tear down the barrel of the famous Staircase, a quarter-mile-long class IV rapid guaranteed to take your breath away. This trip requires some serious coordinated paddling as you plunge through rapids like Bronco Billy and Slalom. An adrenaline thrill you won’t soon forget!

Raft & Rails-Main Payette Saturday & Sunday Only
Looking for an exiciting adventure for your familiy and group! We have the perfect option with a Raft and Rail combo for a full day adventure. We are proud partners with Thunder Mountain Lines in offering this adventure.

Your trip will begin in Horseshoe Bend with a one way, 1.5 hour trip aboard the Thunder Moutain Line to the railroad station of Banks. On your train trip up, you can scout out the rapids, learn about the local history and relax before your rafting adventure. You will disembark the train at Banks for the second leg of your journey. The 2.5 hour rafting trip is perfect for everyone and takes you through Class II and III rapids on the Main Payette. We will give you a saftey briefing and go over instructions for navigating the Payette River.

– Rafting Risk

Our whitewater rafting trips are run by licensed, experianced, and professional guides. On certain trips safety kayakers join us in providing a safer trips. However, as with any outdoor activity, a certain amount of risk is involved. you will be required to sign a Participant Agreement form before you join our trips. Children under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign. Safety instruction are also covered before we get on the river. We are partners with the Boise National Forest and Idaho Outfitters & Guides Licensing Board.
